During this season of gratitude, we proudly celebrate the incredible teachers of Indian Springs Elementary—our dedicated “Cheetahs” who show up each day with passion, purpose, and heart. Their commitment to excellence is evident in the meaningful learning experiences they create, the strong relationships they build, and the high expectations they hold for every student.

Our teachers go far beyond delivering instruction—they inspire curiosity, nurture confidence, and ensure that every child feels seen, supported, and capable of success. Whether leading engaging lessons, providing targeted support, or simply offering a listening ear, they make a lasting impact on the lives of our students and our school community.

We are deeply grateful for their tireless efforts, professionalism, and unwavering belief in our students. Thank you for all you do to make Indian Springs a place where students grow, thrive, and shine. It truly is a great day to be a Cheetah!

Cheetah Spotlight: Learning Leading Recognition 🐆

We are proud to share that one of our outstanding students was recognized at the Annual Learning Leading Awards Ceremony on April 23rd at Murphy High School.

Laurynn’s recognition is a reflection of her consistent leadership, positive attitude, and commitment to excellence in and out of the classroom. She continues to represent Indian Springs Elementary with pride and embodies what it means to be a true Cheetah leader.

Congratulations, Laurynn—we are so proud of you!

Crunching Numbers with Ms. Taylor

As we begin to wrap up the school year, we want to take a moment to celebrate all the growth we’ve seen in our K–5 math students. This year, students worked hard to build stronger number sense, solve problems in different ways, and explain their thinking. We are so proud of the progress they’ve made and the confidence they’ve gained in math.

Across all grade levels, students learned important math habits like showing their thinking, using drawings and models, trying different strategies, and learning from mistakes. These skills don’t just help in math class, they help students become strong, flexible problem solvers in everyday life.

Over the summer, math can still be part of everyday routines. Simple activities like cooking, shopping, playing games, or even talking about time and money are great ways to keep math skills fresh. Just a few minutes here and there can make a big difference. We are so proud of our students and excited for all they will continue to learn and achieve.
